Thin slices of mackerel marinated with salt and spices. They are kept in the refrigerator in high quality sunflower oil, without preservatives keeping their special taste and rich body.
They are served with extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice or vinegar, and are accompanied by ouzo raki, beer or a strong dry white wine, such as retsina.
